
Biography
Kit Moore was born in 1973 to the parents of Kirt and Joanne Moore. Kit Moore has
spent
the last 33 years coaching and teaching at Monterey Peninsula College, sharing his
passion for
volleyball and education. Before that, he coached high school volleyball in the Fresno-Clovis
area for seven years and spent three seasons with Fresno State’s women’s volleyball
program.
A former professional grass and beach volleyball player, Kit also played indoor volleyball
at
Fresno State University. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education and
a Master’s
degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Sports Psychology.
Off the court, Kit is a dedicated family man. He’s married to Michelle Moore, and
their two
daughters, Kylee and Sabrina, are carrying on the volleyball legacy as Division 1
student-athletes at San Jose State for beach volleyball.
Volleyball has been a lifelong journey for Kit, and he continues to share his knowledge
and
experience with the next generation of athletes.
