Biography
Lindsay Peelman is the Chair of the Business Department at Monterey Peninsula College, one of the largest and most dynamic departments on campus. In addition to her leadership role, she teaches a range of core business courses including Marketing, Human Resources Management, Accounting, and Introduction to Business. Under her guidance, the department has expanded its offerings to include innovative new courses such as Breaking the Glass Ceiling: Women in Business Leadership, which explores gender equity and leadership development, and Creative Brand Management, an advanced marketing course that examines the intersection of culture, storytelling, and personal branding through examples from artists like Taylor Swift. Beyond her work in the Business Department, Dr. Peelman also chairs and manages the college’s campus-wide Work Experience program, which helps students prepare for internships and employment by developing essential professional skills, connecting classroom learning to real-world experiences, and supporting career readiness across all disciplines.
