Biography
River Navaille (they/them) is a teaching artist and chronic theatre maker. MPC faculty since Spring 2017 when they revitalized the Seaside High Dramatic Arts Dual Enrollment Program, River continues to work as an educator and director across Monterey County. River teaches and directs plays at Hartnell and Western Stage 2x4BASH, including PIERNAS, Measure For Measure, I WILL BE GONE, King John, Squirrel Girl, and Get with the Times, Jane! which toured to Cleveland’s BorderLight Fringe Fest in 2025. As an actor, River has been seen onstage at SF Playhouse, Santa Cruz Shakes, Western Stage (most recently Will Shakespeare in Emilia), PacRep (most recently Joan of Arc in Saint Joan), and here at MPC as Mercutio in our 2019 Romeo and Juliet.
