Biography
Sharon deMaria Osgood has taught at Monterey Peninsula College for over 25yrs. Her career at MPC began as the Women’s Tennis Coach. She has also taught Triathlon Courses and Swim Classes. Sharon has been the recipient of multiple coaching awards, including- Girls High School Tennis Coach of the Century(USProfessional Tennis Association), Central Coast Section Honor Coach(Tennis) and US Olympic Committee Development Coach of the Year(triathlon) . She was inducted into the MPC Hall of Fame in 1996. Sharon’s personal athletic career spanned 50 years of Regional, National and Worldwide competition in Tennis, Triathlon, Mtn Bikes, Road Bikes, Distance Running and Aquathlon. She continues to pursue an active lifestyle.
