In Loving Memory of Larry Walker

It is with tremendous sadness that we offer this loving tribute to a dear friend and inspiration to us all - Mr. Larry Walker. It is impossible to put into words everything that we love and appreciate about Larry. As an alumni and retiree, Larry dedicated nearly 40 years of his life to MPC, spanning all employee groups as a classified professional in EOPS, faculty TRIO counselor, and in numerous administrative roles. In everything he did, he was deeply student-centered, kind, caring, warm, and genuine. He will always be remembered and his positive impact will endure at MPC through the thousands of lives he touched.

Memorial services will be held on Friday, October 10 at 11am at the Greater Victory Temple in Seaside, with an on-campus memorial to be held immediately following at the MPC Student Center.

Last year, Larry and his family established the Larry & Leslie Walker Family Scholarship. In honor of Larry’s memory, the family asks that those who knew and loved him consider contributing to this fund in lieu of flowers, helping support students for years to come.
